This neat app does two IMPORTANT things that Apple Photos doesn’t - It sorts your photos and videos by file size and quality—so you can find the gems and ditch the junk.
* Photos doesn't sort by file size. So if your iCloud or Mac storage is full, you can’t check which huge videos or photos are filling it up. PhotoSort reveals your largest files - so you can choose what to offload or delete, and save HUGE amounts of space.
* Photos doesn't help separate great shots from the mediocre and rubbish ones. PhotoSort sets apart your BEST photos from blurry and boring ones, screenshots, internet downloads and other trash - so you can clean up easily and have a lean library.
PhotoSort is easy to use and powerful: Select your System Photo Library and click Sort. The FREE version reveals some of the largest and the best in your library. You can also see a list of the 30 largest files by clicking View in the top menu.
Upgrading to the PAID version unleashes the full power of PhotoSort: You can sort your entire library into SizeSort and QualitySort smart albums in Apple Photos:
SizeSort: Sorts photos and videos by file size. If full-sized photos are in iCloud and optimized versions on Mac, the actual file sizes in iCloud are used. You can also limit the search e.g. to items larger than 10MB or smaller than 800kb, or largest items totaling, say, 30 GB.
QualitySort: Ranks photos by aesthetic quality from best to worst. Uses AI and technical factors like composition, focus, lighting, noise, camera angle, etc. – so you can instantly find well-taken photos, those that could be improved with editing, and stuff for you to review and delete.
These albums also sync to your iOS devices via iCloud.

Exactly what I needed
I’ve been struggling for so long to find a way to simply sort my entire iCloud library by size. Apple introduced a way a while back but it only shows up when you are close to your limit and really hard to get it to show up again in the iCloud settings. I finally came across this, loaded it up, paid 5 bucks and in less than a minute, my entire library of 59,000 items was sorted by size in an album. I love that it creates an album so I can manage inside Photos directly. Thank you for the app. I can finally make an impact on my library size

Glad you like the app. You probably already know to use Command + Delete to delete photos from SizeSort album as well as the library (Using only Delete will remove them from the album but not from the library). And to free up space, you must also empty the Recently Deleted folder.
Works like a charm
I have been waiting for Apple to add 'sort by file size' ever since Photos replaced iPhoto. This app goes further and even sorts by image quality. Bravo!
